I. PREVALEN?A

Inciden?a define?te numărul de persoane care sunt diagnosticate cu o anumită boală într-o perioadă specifică de timp (o lună, un an); reprezintă numărul de cazuri noi în aceea unitate specifică de timp.
Prevalen?a unei boli cumulează numărul total de cazuri existente la un moment specific sau pe o anumită perioadă de timp.
Prevalen?a urticariei în popula?ia pediatrică este estimată la 1%/an de via?ă , inciden?a cumulată cre?te de la 3,5-8% la copilul mic la 16-24% la adolescent [1]. Inciden?a evaluată prin chestionare epidemiologice a urticariei de tip superficial a fost raportată la 8.8% în popula?ia generală, iar inciden?a angioedemului la 1,8% [2].
