Sir,
The Obeses and the ueberwechtig persons tend to reveal in their skin folds (especially in groins) a very disgusting rotten smell due to the effect of intertrigo and perennial friction taht evokes a malodorous moisture that is very complicated to strugggle [1,2].
Catherine de Medici, espouse to Henry II, king of France who weighted 46 pounds used to pour out a very unsavory odor and she let Florentine parfumeurs send to Blois Castle in France Ireos powder, talc imbued with verveine to spread upon her thighs but it is well known that during meetings at Court everybody tried to avoid her vicinity.
Beatrice d’Este, duchess of Mailand, used to spread upon her entire body, Gorno or Dossena calamine from Bergamo even if her smell was not agreable, malgrétout.
Nowaday many absorbent powders considered cosmetic items are on the market and are imbued with essential oils but they are sincerely palliative agents and even alumen has been tried to be employed, causing irritation and itching in those delicate areas of the intimate body.
Fusidic acid through parenteral injections or oral administration has been used since immemorial times to combat osteomyelitis, but recently its use has been discovered to struggle even intertrigo evoked by Gram + bacteria and fungi, that are generally culprit of the rotten smell of the moisture that may settle in the deepest skin folds [3–7].
Fusidic acid has been discovered and isolated in sodden grounds or rotten soils [8].
Authors invited to assist to a matinée at a Circus that set up in the vicinity of their hamlet desired to pay a visit to the Cannon woman in her dressing room to congrat with her for the performance.
The smell, mised with sweat was untenable.
Close the circus there were wops, marshes and swampes that were disgusting after the bountiful and copious rains.
Some samples of this slush was collected by theauthors and the analysis by HPLC revealed a big amount of fusidic acid.
Subjectively and obljectively the malodour was nauseating, worst than the cannon woman’s moisture but she was seriously interested in trying this mixture to spread upon their legs every time she had to urinate or when climate was indecent (strong humidity and heat).
The treatment lasted 21 days: the Cannon woman decided by herself to spread light jelly containing avocado oil and Frangipani (Plumeria Tourn) essential oil.
Results were surprising and so she began to conquere self esteem and courage.
Nobody of their colleagues never showed disgust or tesnion when she was nearby.
