Depending upon the involvement of eccrine gland they can be divided into different variants. Absence/ decreased development of eccrine glands leads to hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. This disorder can be associated with the number of other abnormal morphological features. Milia like plaques have been rarely reported.
